I discovered my love for matcha while traveling in Vietnam, where I experienced true ceremonial-grade matcha and flavors unlike anything I had encountered in the United States. Inspired by that experience—and driven by a dream to build my own business—I created Lil Matcha.

My name is Ashley Nguyen, and I’m the founder of Lil Matcha. My parents immigrated here from Vietnam and early on, they showed me value of hard work, resilience, and the importance of building something meaningful for yourself. Those lessons shaped my work ethic and inspired my desire to work hard and create my own business.

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in business, where I further developed my passion for entrepreneurship. Through Lil Matcha, I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams and build something they’re truly proud of.
